Thanks. We bought two LGs in our previous rental home, and they worked out great. I'll probably try to stick with them.

I'd love to hear any opinion on feasibility of having a NAS store media (mp3 files, maybe video downloads), and then being able to use a smartphone or PC connected to wifi to play the mp3 files from the NAS into the Sonos speaker system. Any idea about that?

There are some indications that it is possible, but the protocol that connects the NAS to the Sonos system has issues, and may expose other data on the NAS, and perhaps other data on the entire home network (not sure about that) to hacking.

In the end I'll probably just stick with having the mp3 files and playlists on an iPhone (rather than a NAS) and play them directly into the Sonos speakers from a phone (or PC) rather than add a NAS storage device.
