1. QE continues, and has been the norm since 2008. Seems permanent.
2. Trillion-$ federal budget deficits look permanent.
3. Trade deficits look permanent.
4. ST interest rates at zero. No change anytime soon.
5. 10Y Treauries at 1.5%

So…other than wishful thinking, on what basis is inflation “transient”?

I see no inflation, except in housing, gasoline, cars, food, and a few other trivial items.
