How does deregulation affect IIT ? Their infrastructure seems up-to-date (based only on the singular metric of a fast web site !)

Here's Bloomberg's nightly update:

World Bank Made Mistakes in Indonesia, Wolfensohn Says

" World Bank Chairman James Wolfensohn admitted the bank made ''mistakes'' in its analysis of Indonesia's problems, and underestimated the economic impact of pervasive corruption. ''We made mistakes'' in the assessment of Indonesia's debt problem and didn't fully understand the political dimension, Wolfensohn said. Along with most aid agencies, it also failed to appreciate the scale of the private corporate debts which helped wipe out four-fifths of the rupiah's value in the past year. Wolfensohn is on a two-day trip to Indonesia to discuss its $4.3 billion contribution to the $40 billion aid package put together by the International Monetary Fund in October."

Hmmm . . . pervasive corruption (Good for at least half a point !) and "mistakes in assessment" (maybe a full point ?)

Might signify yet another buying opportunity.
