Some guy responds on Quora to the question, "How can join QAnon." It is priceless. A better statement of "It doesn't exist" could not be dreamed up if you had to.
-------
You don’t really join QAnon as you’d join other groups. There’s no place to sign up. The liberal media doesn’t tell you or make it clear that it’s not an official group. There’s no organized group, past sometimes getting people together for placard demonstrations.
What they don’t tell you is: QAnon doesn’t have an organizational structure of any kind or even an exec structure, there’s no official membership or list of advocates, anyone can and does call themselves an Anon if they want to but most apparently don’t bother, that their present website was started and is run by individual Anons who decided to do it on their own, that all QAnon videos were made by individual Anons but have no official QAnon status, because no official status exists, making it likewise impossible for there to be official QAnon platform and “what the cult believes in.”
What I see happening is the liberal media turning QAnon into their antichrist. They’ve effectively created something else to use as a left-wing rallying cry against the right. The trope is a dangerous, delusory, frighteningly-expanding, conspiratory-brained Great Beast ravaging the minds and souls of the Republican party. Nice. They seem to have taken the more radical fringe or the wilder thinkers in QAnon and made them represent the entire group - time-honored method of caricaturing your opponent or enemy, and certainly, these fringe guys give them something to rave about.
My QAnon friends aren’t “religious," don’t even own a US flag, and don't think Hollywood producers eat babies for lunch at pizza joints. They laugh at the gullibility of the left to so easily fall for everything their media tells them about it.
The proof is easily seen in their repeated assertions of what the “group” believes in, the wilder stuff, when they never produce a single survey showing it’s true, that it’s nothing more than the fringe. No such survey is even possible with the supposed millions of Anons around the world that nobody could possibly locate to ask. They’re blowing big smoke up lots of bums. It’s called politics.
