(LAZR) By: Brandy Betz, SA News Editor Earlier today, lidar sensor company Quanergy announced plans to go public through a reverse merger with SPAC CITIC Capital Acquisition Corp. in a $1.4B deal. Lidar sensor competitors, who also went public through SPAC mergers, are a mixed bag in late afternoon trading. Luminar ( LAZR -3.2%) and Aeva ( AEVA -5.2%) are slumping, while Velodyne Lidar ( VLDR +1.0%), Ouster ( OUST +1.4%), and Innoviz ( INVZ +0.9%) are trading up.
