Exactly that...

What you see happening, stated in terms of technical analysis if you could chart it like a stock... is a descending triangle in the real authority of the policy... it being boxed in more and more over time... having less and less real ability over time to impose control.

But, that narrowing constraint in the power of the monetary authority... is paired with a megaphone pattern in the degree to which the authority pretends it has no such constraint... and becomes more and more aggressive in its effort to pose threats sufficient to cow others into submission... in spite of the fact the threats cannot possible obviate the decline in authority...

The end result is inevitable... as are the behaviors of those being trapped by the constraints they've imposed on themselves.

But, if all you do is focus on the inevitable of the "end game" while pondering the timing... you might miss that the purpose some have is not necessarily to prevent the inevitable... but only to sustain it as long as possible, while they pilfer what can be pilfered before the house of cards collapses ?

And, then...

There is no function in which the impact of technological innovation is more deflationary... than banking. But, in banking alone, the recognition of that reality has been prevented from being recognized... even as the reality of it has consistently expanded in potency, over time. Cryptocurrencies are only one recognition of that fact... defi another obvious issue... But, the problem is that technology obviates the utility of bankers... we no longer need to tolerate the imposition of intermediaries functioning as systemic parasites. But, as it is the parasites who are put in charge of the policy intended to control parasites... for now... we seem to be getting more parasites, and more destructive parasites, not fewer, over time ? They'll deign to allow cryptos... but only as long as they're made intermediary dependent and parasite friendly, first ?

So, as the end game approaches... and another post-2008 opportunity emerges to remove the influence of the parasites... the parasites are busy discussing plans for how much better they can thrive... after removing the patient from any residual ability to resist parasites...

Parasitism has natural limits, though. When the host dies... the parasite fares no better...
