Mongo,
The seniors who dies in nursing homes were in facilities that were comparable to hospitals so they would have died anyway
That's the dumbest thing I've read today.

First of all, the statement itself is factually incorrect. Nursing homes are not comparable to hospitals. Period.

Second, the point isn't whether those seniors who were already infected would have died anyway. The point is that they were confined to nursing homes, which turned those places into death traps. From the standpoint of slowing the spread and "flattening the curve," this had the exact opposite effect, especially among those that turned out to be the most susceptible to die from the coronavirus.

Third, even Dicktator Cuomo knew that these deaths represented a political liability. Instead of admitting an honest mistake, however, he chose to cover it up.

And finally, your post demonstrates utter and desperate denial over the handling of the pandemic. Leaders across all levels of government and across the political spectrum failed miserably. To castigate only one side is to do a disservice to the entire nation, and for what? Just to show that #orangemanbad?

How shallow can you get?
