<<A fake wedding, and a $250,000 scam>>

I talked to my brother who is in Kyiv.

Brother not a happy camper on this news,.... that ran for several pages.

He has Ukraine family, and well, bats for the Ukraine these days.

His question to me (you know ... like it's my fault -g-) "Why has the BBC even ran that story" ?? Ran off a list of about 10 important and current things going on in the Ukraine that should be reported by the BBC. He didn't see those on the BBC site.

and then.... "There are dumb asshole older guys being ripped off every day all over the planet by younger women ... in fact every frikken minute.... why pick on the Ukraine ??

Geepers, I thought, better not mention it was a charity worker who had $250k to play with... but sure enough he picked up on it the other end as soon as I thought it..... rattled on about it for another 5 mins.

He knows the BBC guys in Kyiv. They will no doubt be hearing his pov fairly soon I would guess.

Ya cant say anything on the internet these days without somebody complaining about it !

It was nice talking to him anyway -g-
