Hi UE,

I cared for my mother her last 8 years.

She lived to be 98.5 years old.

We went to Mayo clinic and took an senior persons therapy course together.

Her home was a two story house.

They told her she should go down the stairs backwards. So if she fell she would fall forwards up the stairs.

If balance was an issue, they instructed her to go up and down backwards on all fours.

Open your oven from the side, so if your lose balance your fall on the door and not into the heating element.

Have disability handles installed in all showers and at all toilets (which I did).

Just some little things that can save you for being hurt on a fall.

Also for a time period seh would have slow falls.

It turned out the fluid in her ear, which tells your brain your are out of balance was too thick. She was prescribed a small pill that made the fluid in her ears more viscous and was fixed in no time and forever.

Praying for your solid and quick recovery!

Bob
