Hi Bernie, It IS a longer term plan. I did raised bed gardens as the soil here was all small gravel. I've added cement sand , sand with very small stones. Peat moss and black cow composted cow manure, and garden soil for years now. The good news is the yield continually grows. It does cost money, but it is worth it. We only live so long you know! LOL Leave your place a better place for the next guy - its a boy scout thing LOL Hoping your starter garden is productive, my bet is it will be! We had a nice rain today - perfect! Bob
