Yes, I've use(d) both these products and I view them as 2 different types of products. NetObjects would be more akin to Pagemaker or Quark for doing multipage docs (or sites in the case of Fusion) and Adobe's Illustrator for individual illustrations (single page html in the case of Dreamweaver).
Fusion is great for managing a site, but less great at individual pages. At this point while I'm still a novice at Dreamweaver (I just downloaded and tested evaluation copy), it seems like a really elegant way to do WYSIWYG html and dhtml. Actually it's the best I've seen so far, but I haven't tried SYMC's Visual Page which would be more in line as direct competition. I'm probably not the only one in this boat and once people decide which way they'll "fall" will be the time that MACR starts to turn around. It's getting very close, but I don't believe the votes are in yet. I am still on the fence about buying MACR. (by the way I was a Director user).
