Solar flare review from business insider 2018.

2018 is now our ancient past. Before Covid, a different world.

Solar Storms Could Damage Electronics — Here's Why They Are Dangerous (businessinsider.com)

Odd how the writer refers to the sun as "space garbage".

We would not last very long without it. About 8 minutes in fact.

The sun had been getting quieter for decades as the relentless requirement for more sophisticated electronics has continued. It's like we have paddled up a creek and the sun may now take our paddle away -g-

I am not saying it's anyones "fault", and the alternative theory could as easily be wrong, but lets say our "financial drivers", make certain assumptions about the future. They then financially tip the scales to their advantage and use their influence to get everyone to play along with that expectation.

Sure I am for protecting the environment. However most big companies only pay lip service to that, to look good, nobody really is concerned about the environment in reality.

At the moment.

Ghandi, saw how the British empire constructed the rail net work just to more readily drain India of her resources. He thought it wrong that India produce cotton only to be shipped out to the UK to be woven into cloth and garments, and again shipped back to India for sale. He was right.

He made a big point about it in fact.

Today, if anyone wants to buy a garment, it is only to be produced in In India, or Asia in general. The Wikipedia entry for Nicholas Klein is hardly there, and his famous quote misattributed to Ghandi.

Isn't that a strange one ?

My Irish mother used to say "man proposes, god disposes". I think it was her mother who taught her that.

This lecture on archeology is about our more distant past. A preamble to how we got to where we are today.

I admit I didn't click on the links and read the articles. It is hard to ignore involved parties. I once said on this website that they know what I thought and they are going to do what they want to do.

The center is mine, it is my life.
