We're moving into a rental home, and I plan to get You Tube TV and stream that to the various televisions in the home. We will buy two new TVs, so they're not the problem.

The problem is the home has already a 42 inch Panasonic1080p LCD HDTV with model number TC-L42U12

It was made in 2009!

I doubt it's a "smart TV". Any suggestions for a fudge I can add that will allow me to stream You Tube TV into such an old model?

One friend recommends Chromecast, but is not sure whether that will allow it to accept You Tube TV stream.

Any suggestions?

Hmmm, looking it up, maybe it is a smart TV?
