rather like most Canadians not knowing or really caring to know why there were Black Towns in Nova Scotia... what Residential Schools were really about ... ie.. Genocide... How there was essentially a genocide against the Acadian French.. fortunately Birtish winners were not numerous enough to totally succeed... How Banff national Park was largely built by slave labour of Eastern Europeans in Modern times (1940s).. or how Chinese immigrant men were not allowed to bring their families here... Most do know at least about Japanese Internment camps.... The winners and powerful write history for their own intents...
