Might have mentioned this before, my ancestors the Acadian French were saved from starvation by the Mi'kmaq people after the British kicked them off their lands, their sin was not pledging allegiance to the crown. I thought for sure I would have some First nation DNA especially after looking a pictures of my great grandmother, but when my sister had hers checked we are mongrels :)
