You are living in the past. The Dem Party is now controlled by Liberals and Progressives. Even Jamie Diamond considered himself to be a marginal Democrat in the past. As for John Corzine, there were some Wall Street Pigs who identified with the Bill Clinton Democrats as long as they weren't taxed excessively.

Bottom line: the Dem Party from yesteryear is not the same Party today.
