This is what the bat lady wrote when applying for a US grant:

“Test predictions of CoV inter-species transmission. Predictive models of host range (i.e. emergence potential) will be tested experimentally using reverse genetics, pseudovirus and receptor binding assays, and virus infection experiments across a range of cell cultures from different species and humanized mice.

“We will use S protein sequence data, infectious clone technology, in vitro and in vivo infection experiments and analysis of receptor binding to test the hypothesis that % divergence thresholds in S protein sequences predict spillover potential.”

In English, "We intend to use the money to make corona viruses that affect humans."

And what has happened to her records? Sealed by the politicos in Beijing.

In my view, concealment is indicative, but not probative, of guilt. Strike one or two of three.

Then Daszak, who is probably as evil as he is stupid, on December 9, 2019, a few weeks before the virus is known to have escaped, gives an incriminating video interview in which he described the bat lady's work, describing it in a manner which is very consistent with her grant application.

Hope link works because there has been some, ah, movement of the evidence.

But what happened before that?

Well, the State Department was telling everyone who would listen that the Wuhan Lab was unsafe.

And what level of safety was used for dealing with these incredibly dangerous engineered viruses? In the bat lady's own words, BSL 2 and BSL 3 (the safety standards of your dentist's or reflexology masseur's office).

Don't believe me?

Go to the last page of this interview, in which the bat lady states this:

A: The coronavirus research in our laboratory is conducted in BSL-2 or BSL-3 laboratories.

There is a lot more circumstantial evidence. It is compelling. The data is huge, very technical, but of course an eye for detail and careful reading is required, as well as an open mind. But what is missing is probably more important than what is available, and the missing data is an invisible gigantic elephant in the room the Chinese have created - the bat lady's records - which have been sealed, destroyed, 'lost', whatever.

Lawyer joke that reminds me of this imbroglio. A witness is getting cross-examined in a case involving the prosecution of someone who bit another's ear off during a fight:

Q: Did you see the defendant, my client, actually bit Mr. Smith's ear?
A: No.

Q: If you did not see him bit the ear off, are you positive that he did so?
A: Yes.

Q: How can you with any certainty accuse my client of biting Mr. Smith's ear off if you did not actually see him do so?
A: Simple, sir. I saw him spit the bloody thing out of his mouth.

I could drone on and on regarding the evidence (which in my view is massive), but I understand that unless one has a pathological aversion to bullshit, most do not have the time or inclination to read this hyper-technical stuff, so I present it in a somewhat abbreviated form.

If you want fashion and glitz to accompany your reading, Vanity Fair actually has a pretty good article, though it may not be to your taste as China does not fare well in the piece.

Just remember that banana trees do not grow naturally in the North Pole just as engineered viruses do not naturally evolve in nature.
