BTW, today, my daughter Coconut informed me that she would like to and shall most likely attend ballet school full time for at least one year on professional track in metropolis city of many bright lights, as at least a gap-year activity, given that at end of HS school year ‘22 graduation time she would still be 17, and wanna to limber up wings before applying for and going on to some arts & science school for full time academic and part time performing arts studies. She has already been accepted at the professional dance school even though she just finished her junior year in HS. I am supportive. Her logic and plan of attack actually sounded very methodical, and extremely well reasoned, with backstops and blue sky possibilities, and her delivery of the plan was also good. I certainly had neither clue nor plan when I was 16 and NOT-really-thinking about college other than it being another pit stop before having to support myself. Wonderful. Am done except for the bills to pay.
