It's a tough call, as there seems to be a contest between the vaccines and the virus, which the virus will win.

The virulence of this virus appears to dwarf that of the 1918 flu virus. It could be because of the way we've chosen to attack it. If we just let it plow through the populations, it could kill a quarter billion people, which is, of course, untenable.
