Actually two things Bob..
first how deep (tall) are your raised beds.. I am, also trying to decide on a wall material that won't break the bank yet look nice... Brown PT fence board for the quick and dirty was OK... but... and lumber very pricey these days.. (OK a two in one) .. I considered Deck Boards .. pricier but much stronger...

second.. the garage is interesting .. I am looking to build a garage at our chalet/cottage w/comfortable parking for two vehicles .. not Corollas ;) but am thinking to include a second story loft .. kind of like a studio apartment... Going forward I will be spending more and more time there so it would be nice to have a revenue generating place a la AirBNB that I can monitor on site... or have a place for the kids/nephews/nieces etc to come to... without being in main house... I am also thinking of raised beds there..especially for garlic/onions/leeks... things that are essentially trouble free... very low maintenance...

were I younger I would likely do it more piecemeal with nice looking concrete blocks as I did my terraced patio in Toronto... Also considering terracing the beds for dwarf fruit trees and berry shrubs in deeper(taller) sections .. anyway thinking about designs so I can get started in fall for next spring.. also looking to incorporate poly carbonate for the cold frame effect to be able to jumpstart/extend the season ... especially for the cool weather crops .. These are all things I had going on pre divorce at my Toronto home...
