We, the boyz of the committee, have been laughing ever since 34 years ago, every time we think of the incident. The gift pretended to be representative of a prospective corporate client, all very involved, and the Aussie architect worked some long hours to put a relevant portfolio together for discussion over drinks with beautiful prospective client, and …
The operative hook of the line was the always winning opening, for a girl, or a make believe girl, “you know we are not going to sleep together, right?”
It was very funny. And no one to blame. And ‘she’ was pretty.
