OK THX.. so it's the 2in that is critical.. 6x6.. really built to last :) I may cheat there with 4x4 LOl ... realise the fence board was just a one off Q&D... I figure I have 20 years or more... so yeah I need that at least LOL ... OK so I am really thinking like you then .. I thought 5/4 deck might be OK but you are correct with the 2in.. My dad would be proud LOL That is why I asked.. never needed raised beds before... I am happy to see we are on same plane incorporating cold frame tech ... NOW THAT is where I plan to use solar...
