The problem is not just the roots. I actually spent time sieving the damn roots. Another problem is that they can have seeds in the soil that can live for upto 5 years. I've heard of stories that someone actually put in a 5' concrete and a few years later they crawled out of the other end, like they did with my raised flowerbed.

They should its picture in dictionary next to the word "resilient"!
