My dictionary has two definitions for Nimbus:
1) a Halo
2) a rain cloud

Tomorrow is it. The results from this qtr are the first real view of DVDs impact on revenues. At this point DVD is still a very small percentage of the total revenue form Nmbs. but it appears to be a growing part of the revenue stream. If NMBS beats the .30 estimate number I think we will finally get out of neutral and into first gear. Yes, it has taken a couple "rainy" years...

Lets not forget the next qtr which generally sucks for Nimbus. Here they will be gearing up to produce a load of Divx titles to hit the shelves in April. Even if Divx fails (and I think it will within a year) Nmbs will gain some revenues from this endeavor. Also, the number of "open DVD" titles are increasing everyday, and the recent relationship(s) with MS certainly can't hurt things as windows '98 release nears. (which is designed to fully support DVD ROM). I look fwd to a gap up tomorrow and a volatile (albeit up-ward) ride for the better part of the year.

Good luck all you "Nimbeciles" !

Jim
