I just wanted to see how my BB compared with the standard one, so I put the two together on the same chart. It was a coincident to see how the bands crossover with each other. One difference that is very clear between the two, mine has a faster+smoother response while the original keeps steady before (sometimes) making sudden moves. I take the slope of lowerband (mine, not the standard's) as an indication of the strength of uptrend, and the upper band for downtrends. The crossovers and where the price is relative to the midband is also significant.
