Ok, I am researching this one myself, but if there is a home electrician that understands this stuff already advice would be welcome!

I am installing Alexa compatible smart light switches in a new home. Currently there are three wall light switches .....

(The Switch I Care About) - In the living room there is a three switch wall switch that controls 1- a few lights in the kitchen ceiling, 2- a few lights in the adjacent living room ceiling, and 3- the lights above the stove.

(Switch 2) Across the same room on the wall is a two switch light switch which controls 1 - a few lights in the kitchen ceiling, and 2- something else.

(Switch 3) On another hall entering the kitchen is a three switch light switch which controls 1- something, 2-a few lights in the adjacent living room ceiling, and 3- something.

Question - If I replace ONLY (The Switch I Care About) with an Alexa Compliant double pole three way smart switch, will it work to allow voice control for 1- a few lights in the kitchen ceiling, and 2- a few lights in the adjacent living room ceiling while leaving everything else unchanged?

Any idea? Does anyone have experience changing to smart switches when the dumb lights are controlled by more than one dumb wall switch?
