be careful sense, that sort of thinking has potential to radicalise

once I was at a higher end remote island resort sipping drinks whilst reading "Fiat Money Inflation in France" and casually criticised central banks and money printing, but out loud, as the beach bar was empty except for the barman I thought. Two cretins, fellow tourists, retorted, "what is wrong with free money?"

That happened in 2003. In hindsight the cretins might be correct by the rhetorical question.

"what is wrong with free lunch?" is a point that can be argued.

Of course, the response can be kinetic should one camp be put in position having to explain the basics to any opposing camp. Kinetic is simpler, might be quicker, and at least something happens, and the machinery of free-lunch might break.
