IMO, Mitch sees himself as the leader of the right wing and Southern culture.

He says it outright:" this is a fight for what America looks like"; and he wants it to look like his culture.

It is a simple war game for him, and he does what he can to win, including breaking the traditional legal norms and mores using his raw power to do so.

As Steele said:" it is all politics to him", and the pub party I might add.

There is, and never has been, a good Republican social policy.

We never should have expected anything from him, or the Republicans for that matter.

To Mitch and the pubs defeating the dems is job one, just as they did to Obama.

I only wish Obama has taken their threat more seriously.

What an evil hunk of crap Moscow Mitch is. When he makes remarks like this last clip it makes my skin crawl. He is such an awful excuse of a person.
