off-topic I'm very much against capital punishment, but with a twist. I don't like the state having the the right to murder. However, as someone whose step-mother was brutally murdered (then molested) in a house robbery, I think the appropriate punishment is to release the condemned on the courthouse steps at a pre-announced time. If they get past the crowd alive, they can go free.... I don't want to see my step-mom's killer executed. I want very much to do it myself.
