Pugs / Joe: (OffTopic) Not to start a lengthy debate here but capital punishment was instituted by God. So the source of the authority is that greater power. My wife and I discussed this particular issue at length the other day. As a victim I most likely wouldn't seek for capital punishment on the perpetrator but would seek reconciliation. The state will do what the state will do however. I also hope all you who are against capital punishment are against murder, particularly of those who are innocent and don't have a voice, i.e. those in the womb. Regards, KMT
