The question is, what are they doing? Just sitting around picking their noses and collecting their pay cheques until the $2.5 million is consumed?

At the end of February, gold starts to take off in price. If they wait till then, as you say, prices of potential properties will start to go up. Now is bargain time when companies are starting to get desperate because of the pain of low gold prices.
