"Sell and go short", the Wall Street saying points to the way of disaster. You sell when you believe the shares are fully valued, when fundamentals change, or when you no longer like the company. I no longer like the company.

You don't go short because that presumes you've sold at the top. The stock is in a short term uptrend. Until that concludes it would be foolhearty to short. Besides, there are better short candidates in this group.

The short side of most issues is still forward. It may take the entire year before the gradual topping process is fully in place. Shorting is trading and with margin. These two are further ways to disaster. Cash is a great way to hold.
