Re <<What are your objections to getting vaccinated?>>

We do not object to vaccination. We are hesitating because freedom of choice confuses us, especially as the data is all over the place, every day. We do not want to be bum-rushed.

We are social-distancing, wearing mask, doing sunshine, basking in vitamin D, etc etc etc, and we wait for 30-days of data, and make go / no-go before school opens. Should the school require vaccination in order to enter premises, we shall do what we must. Otherwise we wait to see what, if anything, happens in Israel, UK, S Korea, Seychelles, UAE, Australia, various parts of China, and of USA.

If we had to travel, which shall eventually be, we shall get vaccinated in a hurry, so latest vaccination date would be, say around May 2022.

.... and not only us. HK Covid case numbers are minuscule. BioNTech (Pfizer / Fosun) and Sinopharma vaccines are offered.

So, a few decisions ...

Vaccinate or not, answer eventually Yes
Which flavour? answer, the flavour that works for where we are and for where we are to visit.
How frequent? don't know.
What LT and cumulative effects? No idea
What for? Unclear.

Remember, we were in S Africa for 1/2 year in 2020, travelled through Amsterdam and Vancouver, and nothing bad happened. We do not know anyone in HK who was struck by CoVid, and we do not know anyone in HK who knows anyone in HK who was struct by Covid. Some of our relatives overseas were stuck with CoVid, but all either asymptomatic or otherwise survived without apparent LT effects.

Our approach would likely be different in the case of airborne-Ebola.

I remain agnostic. I am confused. I believe folks are trying to tell me stuff, but I just do not understand the messaging.
On the upside, whatever might happen may not be as horrendous as 2020. On the downside, acceleration towards TeoTwawKi, through the mist
For example, for this day ...
(1) I am told we might be in Woodchuck loop, and worse, the virus gain-of-function-ed, Pfizer Shot failing to work, either at the several-months' mark, or stops short at Delta's edge, or something, and Texas might be doing something wrong, or the virus is not a serious-enough threat. Whatever the case, we know less that we think we know, that which is called risk ...
(2) Either Sinovac works or not, in Chile and / or in China, and maybe works in China and less in Chile because of many reasons we might guess at, or whatever, but if does not work-enough, bad happening ...
(3) Delta is ... I do not know ...
(4) Who knows what is ahead, but deep-state mouthpiece Foreign Affairs bunch believe they know ...
