Re <<At the end of the day, my view is that the anti-vaxxers, including anti-vaxxers who avoid revealing themselves as such by taking on the ‘agnostic’ label (that’s you, Jay, lol!)>>

I know I know I know but I am not anti-vaccination, just as I am not a gold bug:0)

As to CoVid-vaccine in particular, just like jet fuel, best avoid stuff containing paint chips. Some additives are features, and others are bugs.

C2, the economies were shut down. Imagine that. Not in the thread's wildest did we ever (as far as I am aware) dialogue about economies shut down.

But we do not need to imagine it any more, for we lived it.

I am suspicious that due to the perceived or real dire imperatives brought on by the CoVid, 'they' had no particular choice but to forestall / temp-down an enveloping panic that was tee-ed up to the extent that economies were shut down.

As there was no obvious cure other than chicken soup, 'they' had to do something that can claim prevention. Hurriedly vaccines tee-ed up. Given that I was not panicked about the virus, I see no cause for rushing into the vaccines until human trials now underway is completed, as my doctor friends advised, as they are doing. at least as far as the new fangled stuff is concerned.

I do consider doctors' advise to be of merit, when they said 'wait for 6 months' back in March, when vaccines were first widely available. If I am not mistaken, the 6th month's mark happens in September.

If I am forced to make a decision today, I would do a half-step, and take vaccine based on traditional tech, and maintain full pandemic living protocol. If deciding two months from now, I do not know yet.

So, yes, am agnostic, and in 'wait for it' mode. In the meantime have no reason to expect catching the virus under the hot summer sun. It is not as if we are visiting cinemas and bars, or travelling anywhere.

speaking of covid vaccines and 6-month's mark, just in, and if true, what is reported, then best for the early adopters to make appointment to re-up, just like smart phone app updates

And should the side effects be cumulative in nature, trust still below the threshold of full expression at at least the third jab. I note that there are a lot of alphabets to go before we reach Omega.

Israeli data seems to show COVID vaccine protection starts fading after 6 months
Most of the vaccinated people who have been recently infected got the shot around January, figures given to Health Ministry show; some caution it’s too early to draw conclusions
