My guess why the stock is sucking sea water is that Compact bought out Digital which most people including myself expect Compact to push NT instead of UNIX to Digitals customers. This could be a problem but that depends on how well NT can take on UNIX. From a marketing point of view Microslop could sell swamp land in Florida so they will sell NT which is garbage compared to UNIX and therefore cut into UNIX market. On the other side of the coin if customers realize that NT can't touch UNIX then maybe NT won't replace UNIX. With Sun bringing in a competitive priced UNIX box (Darwin) to compete with NT this might not happen. Your guess is good as mine. JMHO Mike
