All, announcement on "latest news on company", new feature of PC Quote, that Intel is eliminating forward-looking statements in general and an analyst meeting planned for Oct. 31. Prop. 211 in California, on the ballot, Nov. 5 is the given reason. The bill would render useless the federal securities law "safe harbor....". Goes on to say that prop. 211 would increase securities litigation liability of corporations substantially beyond the pre-reform liability. Too bad, those statements and analysts mtgs. were sure helpful in deciding investing strategy. Good old California! Tony
