If the post was made in jest I do apologize, however, my point still stands to those who continue to spread rumor on this thread.
It isn't healthy for the thread or the stock...in turn it is not healthy for me. I really was not picking on Ed in particular, rather, the attitude that often exists on this thread.
There are many more ripe delicious red apples on this thread than sour ones, however, the sours really stand out and discourage me from buying more apples.
Am I the only one who wonders why people post the things they do? Does noone care to know where information comes from? Have you all taken the time to go back through the thread and see things that were posted that never came to fruition? Does this bother anyone? (please don't respond to those...they are rhetorical)
I would like this thread to involve information, speculation, intelligent postings. Speculation isn't, "I heard that there is a release next week with great numbers!". <----that is garbage. "Warren Buffet is accumulating shares of Naxos" <----garbage "Fred Arkoosh and Jimmy John are sleeping with......." <---caught you!
When the numbers aren't released...the poster never comes back and says, "sorry all...my mistake...my inside source at the Naxos Intelligence Agency ate a bad apple that day". It hurts us all and smells bad. It is called manipulation and makes us look scandalous.
I enjoy reading this thread and spend many hours doing so, however, I don't expect inside information from anyone. If I see information that has not yet been released to the public I assume that either :
A) The Poster is full of garbage.
B) The Poster is attempting to manipulate the public and may be an insider/major stockholder...with too much freetime and a weak voice with no venue.
C) The Poster is an idiot...also with too much free time.
You pick one of the above. (and there are more)
There is a distinct difference between discussions regarding a speculative stock and the type of postings that I am referring to. The nature of our talk is speculative. We all have enough to speculate about without discussing when the next release will be, what it will say, who is investing heavily in our goldmine, etc.
