It's most likely that the mechanisms of the process were not sufficiently understood in the 70s.

The polar magnetic reversal and its rapid acceleration, being part of that process, was not at all included in their assessment.
The eventuality of grid down as a result will very likely come this decade.
I would not be surprised if it comes in the next year and a half.

Volcanic eruptions being associated with the period of ice age onset was also not approached in the film.
The odds are steadily increasing that an eruption will knock down the climate.

And very importantly, as the process unfolds from here, global agriculture will come under greater and greater stress.

Buckle up cuz you're going to get a good dose of what's coming too in the next several years.

And my kids, having attended the same prep school as Biden and his kids, were completely brainwashed before I came across this whole cycle mess and researched it.
So...4 out of 4.

They know what I've told them. I can only wait for the push of physics to come to shove.
At that point, I believe they'll come around.
