Don't worry. At some point in time (maybe even during this century!), we will cross 42 7/8... Your experience illustrates why it is so important to keep in mind that the price you pay determines your rate of return -- the lower the price, the higher the return; the higher the price, the lower the return. It's so simple a fact that one might wonder why I should even say it! But it is indeed funny that very few people think along those lines... I am one of those who feel that when it comes to buying stocks, a "hard to please" attitude will stand you in good stead in the longer run. Good Luck. Dipy.
