Pancho, it could be:
-the market does not care about Yeltsin's comments
-the market thinks Clinton is not as strong as Bush and would not attack Iraq
-Saddam will wimp out when push comes to shove and/or Saddam does not beleive Clinton will attack; he is just blowing hot air to acquire support
Wonder what it is, but it may just be that the market thinks that Clinton will not do anything to harm the prosperity of the wall street so that people will ignore the other problems around him thinking that he is doing well.
Whatever it is, the market seems to be rallying like hell.
