Scarfed up some NSCP today.

I think SUNW *must* do something to counter the new CPQ/DEC alliance or face future irrelevance in the midrange Server market. Acquiring Netscape would be a tremendous move in that direction; SUNW could then downplay Netscape products on NT; sacrificing that market to Microsoft BUT they could pour tons of R&D money into Netscape products on their machines reestablishing Sun hardware as the only REAL choice for serious high volume net sites.

It just makes too much sense for SUNW/NSCP to merge. I have to think therefore there is a real gem of truth to those rumours.
