Here is the issue the Zenners are missing which I must admit, I rather enjoy.
The cloth masks (little blue ones) are 2% efficient in stopping the COVID virus.(Test conducted CBC in a qualified Canuck Lab)
The reason the little blue masks are so poor at stopping COVID is because COVID virus is in the 20 to 200nano meter size and the little blue mask is generally accepted to stop particles of 300nm and larger.
The COVID virus is accepted to be .1 micron but is normally attached to something much larger. ie. moisture particles from your breath. But even those particles total can be under 200nm with ease. Hence the reason CDC says air circulation systems can move the virus. Thats because the particles can remain suspended in the air for long periods of time if the particles are only 20-100nm. So, you will note that no one in HC/CDC or otherwise says the little blue mask protects you. They say "where a mask to protect others". The concept is the little blue mask will decelerate the particles that contain COVID from an active COVID carrier. But no one has ever said the Little Blue Mask protects YOU from COVID. Why does this all matter?

Once coated with ZenGuard, Concrete, or Rubber Bands, a "little blue mask may be able to achieve 99% stoppage with any of the above through the face of the fabric, but, the little blue masks failure is "fitment". Because the mask does not seal, even if the face of the mask is 99% COVID proof, the leakage around the nose, side of face and under jaw relegates the "Shandong wong pong special with BioMass" or the "Trebor/ZenGuard blue mask" equally as useless. So if a test of the Shandong thingy or the Zenguard thingy was ever done. They would find virtually the same efficiency of both to an untreated blue mask. Why? Fitment. Unless you strap a little blue mask to a perfectly formed dummy with contours that support 100% fitment, you have a fail!

Hence the reason I continue to short and hence the reason I will continue to make good money doing so. And, perhaps the reason why the chart says much lower?
