Short Stock + Short Puts When the firms were buying puts, I had to take the other side. Then, I hedged by shorting stock. So yes, I am "short" stock, but hedged. My position resembles a short straddle, where I hope we stay in a trading range for a while. Due to certain regulations, I cannot publicly comment on my opinions about the stock price.
