Actually Alex aka GSLRBYBlOOD and numerous other aliases to come, I do not begrudge GSLR efforts.
1) GSLR does not want a quarry or mine 2) GSLR will do anything and I mean ANYTHING to stop it including
a) Creating a Bylaw to rezone Miller b) Passing it to CPTAQ without following its own laws which is to post for 30 days for comments from the people and then get Approval by Argentuil before it becomes law c) Causing CPTAQ to close a file based on your illegal document setting us back by 2 years and counting. d) That generated the lawsuit e) Argentuill then said you can't do that because every County has to have a mining area f) GSLR then attempted to rezone a known Agricultural Zone (South East Grenville) to Mining, knowing full well because it was already zoned AG and actually Agricultural, no proposed mine would ever be approved there. So they intentionally tried to side swipe Quebec Law which states clearly a portion of all counties shall be reserved for mining activities. (Argentuill did not approve the change) g) at the 11th hour GSLR then acknowledged that CCB has full right to Mine based on Q Law and reversed the bylaw, and put everything back to the way it was prior to the illegal change so they would not have to defend their activities in court. h) CCB dropped the lawsuit.
So GSLR is doing everything, including illegal things, to stop this project, They have attempted to state its environmental, it is not. It is NIMBY, which again, I do not begrudge GSLR for defending.
However
There are two sides to the story. I believe this mine will be Enviro Friendly, not be big enough to leave even 1/50th of the footprint GSLR suggests. It will improve the worlds Environment by supplying Small Modular Reactors with Nuclear Grade Graphite thereby reducing GHGs significantly around the world.
So I am on the side of "We need this mine". You are on the side of NO MINE and continue to change your reasons as CCB slowly eats away at all the "smoke".
So, Alex we could daily say, "were a mine and you could say "yur dead" but ultimately it is not up to you and I it is up to the Government of Quebec. So my intent is not to misrepresent CCB, where yours is to misrepresent the project to a point of literally no room for discussion. So its best if we just don't argue, best to leave it as this
GSLR position- NO MINE (reasons vary from day to day) For 7 years before the application to CPTAQ - CCB drilled the crap out of the property, they trucked off large samples for analysis. They trucked off large loads for Bulk Sample testing. What exactly did GSLR do to intercede and say "hey what you doin"? Did GSLR say why are you spending MILLIONS OF DOLLARS drilling holes. Why was this a surprise to all you amazing talented people that now scream NIMBY? CCB position- MINE (reasons- there is a need and its Enviro friendly for GSLR and the world.
So like with your other aliases I will not participate in the mud slinging. You claim as many hollow victories as you can, and we will progress with the mine. |
