Then, this one today from Steven van Metre... I think best considered in context set by the prior link... Van Metre explains things in current events reasonably well, if in overly broad terms re China's internals, but he also introduces a couple of new wrinkles worth paying attention to as events progress from here... maybe not "new" in terms of consideration here... but I'm not seeing others talking about these things now:
