Using the air conditioner in the summer or heater in the winter reduces the 400 mile range by 35% to 50%. By the time you travel from Vancouver to Hope (about 1.5 hr drive) you need to recharge to get to say Kelowna (another couple hours down the road). It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge. After waiting in line for a spot at the charging station. People who left Vancouver at 7am finally arrived in Kelowna at about 7pm to 9pm after waiting in line and then waiting for a full charge. Typically a 4 hr drive for a typical conventional gas powered vehicle. Be aware of your decisions.
