Any comment that suggests this virus is a "self inflicted" wound is stupid. I presume you didn't give that much thought to your comment which was about as ignorant as Koan.

I gave thought to it. Seems to me plausible to consider catching a bad case of covid nowadays, having declined to be vaccinated, to be effectively self inflicted. I'll entertain arguments for potential flaws in my assessment if you have any.
