A lot of this is people just spinning tales, although I don't think anybody would be surprised." ====================================================================== You raise some very good points but it really comes down to the price Sun Microsystems would pay. Netscape has about 90 million shares outstanding. I would want Sun to pay little or no premium and the combination would have to be accretive going forward. I doubt this is possible. However if so, it would be a great fit and provide Sun an excellent opportunity to build the premiere JAVA virtual machine platform using the Netscape browser installed base. I trust Sun's management decision what ever they decide. EKS
