Sitting here wiling the time away.
Did not want to travel but had to more or less.
The more fundamental side of things is really difficult right now, for me anyway. Lot of things just do not make sense. Shortages, excess .... what is going on? It will become clear at some point.
I will note one observation, been a while since I traveled through major airports. I think the economic climate is reflected by the amount of airport travel. I have observed this over many years of travel. I was a bit surprised, the airports I have traveled through are less busy than what I had expected. Maybe because I have been holed up a bit?
Went outside today and sat and watched the traffic on a major boulevard. Familiar with the area where I am at. Again less busy than expected.
I could not but wonder ... what if some type of economic lock up occurs, I don't even know what that means? Goods stop flowing, people stop traveling, economic activity just grinds down to a crawl. Weird.
I am not short yet, just trying to time a top we all know is coming. Been out of the markets a long long time, for personal reasons, decided a while back I wanted to get involved again. I am not crawling yet, but older as opposed to younger. Patience is something that has been learned, a positive thing I think.
But damn the charts is all we have right now, looks like hell is coming to me. Again feel like Harry Dent the blind squirrel who finds the occasional acorn?
