It's a fair question... but I assume one that others will assiduously avoid as long as the answer matters... ?
You don't ever get there, of course, as long as there is a debate engaged re "if" it came from the lab...
My read of it could be wrong, of course... and perhaps it was deliberately engineered by... pick your favorite Bond villain... the globalist/ Soros/Gates/Fauci nexus in the purpose driven eugenics of Nazi nut jobs funding work in China... that China was happy enough to have them fund... seeming reasonable enough in that still all and only unreasonable aspect of our ever having a need to consider it...
What the behavior I observed "at the time" suggested... was that its origin was as a leak of a modified virus from "gain of function" work done at the Wuhan lab... that was probably not about its release being intentional... but accidental...
The only hints I've seen floated (and that only very recently) saying that might not be "all of it"... also address issues in and around Wuhan, only with an earlier origin in a small number of unexplained pneumonia-like illnesses... occurring much earlier than thinking was re Covid-19...
That could mean Covid-19 got off to a slow start... a year or more before now assumed... which is not unlikely when the population of the infected transmitting to others is as small as a population of one... particularly if mortality was initially high...
It could also mean that Covid-19 was not a singular event in the case of Wuhan having problems with leaks from the lab... but only the event in which the failures enabling leaks finally... went viral...
That potential muddies the waters a lot more... in a couple of ways...
But, the other "hints" that cannot be ignored...
The technical element... in the functions that the virus "just happens" to have... that "just happens" to correlate with the agenda items of others... ?
Also, are those of the "remarkable coincidences" in the serial correlations apparent in the now well known... in the Soros/Gates/Fauci type organizational linkages between the work done... and self appointed globalist cabals seeking to depopulate the planet... so they can better own and control it... and you.
So, an issue emerges there re what "the R&D department" means... as in the obvious amateurism apparent in the origin and management of the efforts in the lab at Wuhan... and in those enabling the lab in Wuhan... including in that element not just China's support, but that of the labs and academics supporting those efforts... in the U.S., Canada, by the CDC, WHO, et al... and others who've avoided sharing the spotlight... only the more as it appears that set of efforts ties into the political network of the "globalists"...
"The R&D department"... was a billionaires pet project... fostering an independent and amateurish "R&D department"... using control of various state resources for its own ends in a set of "pay to play" deals... ?
Any serious military run operation... likely to know better than to be doing any of the stupid shit they did... so in the degree the effort made by China was "military backed"... it suggests issues with amateurism are far more pervasive that one might otherwise expect... I tend to discount that more than others in result...
It boils down to... expecting the guys with the guns will be professional enough in what they do and how they do it... to not conduct basic gun familiarization or training exercises with live ammo... and thus have soldiers, as a matter or routine, accidentally shooting themselves and each other in training... ? Military tend to have that degree of discipline... often lacking in other places... that precludes such basic failures as killing themselves and others accidentally only because of their being obvious candidates as Darwin Award finalists... and where it occurs... they tend to "fix it" when its recognized... rather than allow "drift" and devolution of standards...
But, amateurism, drift and devolution of standards clearly is what's been happening... not just in the Wuhan lab, but in the agencies and labs in Canada, and in the U.S., and in the offices who've been enabling them... in the CDC, the WHO... but also in the related NGOs... where absolute morons like Fauci and Gates are seen influencing events... and driving policy... not only n spite of being stupid, lacking sufficient knowledge to have a knowledgeable opinion re risks... but in spite of being lunatics with a penchant for making the villains in the Bond movies seem reasonable...
The amateurism may have been channeled in as a function of the nature of its origin... in exploiting amateurs... That all easily converted, also, into a rational re-enforcement of thinking that monopoly is a bad idea... based on the outcomes enabled by monopoly... as seen in the radical extension of a pay-to-play $ for policy revision of the Peter Principle...
Gates and Soros... all the proof required... each of them now putting the survival of all others on the planet at risk... as they prosecute personal agenda as a hobby... that destroys others lives as a matter of routine...
One man, one vote... does not anticipate another man not caring how you vote... but just doing what he wants... because given a monopoly... he robbed the planet of the resources to enable him in doing it...
And, then... just bought the rest of the votes... by corrupting the elections ?
Bio-warfare... is mostly just a really, really bad idea... that mostly doesn't ever really work as intended... but always contains the excess in the risk that if you do try to use it... you don't really control it... and it doesn't really discriminate well in terms of who and what it is "supposed" to harm... So, the only people who are likely to want to enable any such use... will be those in the class of amateurs... or $ driven morons...
That's not changed by introducing new components of even geekier sci-tech in genetics... whether to tinker with human genetics in vaccines or that of mosquitoes... in conducting depopulation experiments...
That issue with amateurs was clearly apparent in China, too... when Beijing finally had enough of the amateurism mucking things up in Wuhan local government, and in Hubei provincial government... they finally sent in a qualified manager, from the Army... who did, finally, put an end to the amateurs efforts that were only making things worse... And did that, at least, by quickly ending the conversion of "medical care" as it was being practiced.... into the primary vector of the spread. She also fixed the problem of numbers being mis-reported... a huge contributor in the origin of the problem... for around 3 days... until the politicians in Beijing re-imposed the purposeful errors... as the real numbers were making them look bad...
Politicians... and amateurs... are corrupting influences... that lower standards... and then fail to meet them...
I think that "if" there is more than an issue with a "lab leak" that is an accident... it will likely prove to be a problem with "rogue actors" doing stupid shit... as Gates/Soros funded or globalist enabled NGO problems... exploiting the ability to use money to co-opt the functions of state activities to employ them in prosecution of elements of agenda that were never intended or approved by the state...
China's recent ramping up of military backed belligerent behavior... and the potential parallel in the pattern of its behavior in addressing other aspects of accelerating the development of technology useful in enabling the military... also subject to the rule above... "stupid shit" being done usually having similar political drivers... enabling idiots... and, in China, also having a massive problem in structuring a system that fails to ensure the military is both isolated from politics, and responsive to civilian authority in policy... and command.
It appears, still, that "the virus" problem that has been unleashed on us... is less of an existential risk to humans... than centralized government... and its tolerance of, not just tolerance of but creation, in fostering corrupt politicians and amateurs... incompetence and corruption... in others as well as in its own...
China continues to obstruct "the accident investigation"... which is not a good look...
But, worse... it is obvious WHY they do... not as it will necessarily show that they are guilty of anything more than having an accidental release from the lab...
But, exposing the problem... exposes the problem...
While China continuing its efforts in refusing to have the problem exposed... also masks the origins of those problems HERE... that need to be exposed...
